This talented and accomplished Seattle based musician possesses a unique sense of style, inspired by the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Tony Williams. He brings an impeccable and precise sense of timing to his passion for Bebop jazz. His musical path and mentoring was with Northwest legendary pianist Al Hood and renowned saxophonists, Charles McPherson.

Mr. Quitevis’ performing career spans 35 years, playing at a wide variety of venues in Seattle such as Tula's, Jazz Alley, The New Orleans, the Bumbershoot and Sundiata Festivals.

Nicholas has joined forces with the combined talents of local jazz artists and vocalists, Rene Strange, Reggie Goings, Tess Querzon- Cabrera, Burt Wilson, Hadley Caliman, Rick Mandyke; Darius Wilrich, Mike Rollins, Kamal Abdul-Alim, just to name a few.
